Rules For Unvaccinated Travel To Portugal

All UK travellers arriving in Portugal must present a covid certificate. The certificate depends on your vaccination status:

  • If you are fully vaccinated, you are required to show proof of a covid vaccine certificate. To qualify as fully vaccinated, you need to have received a booster shot. If you have not received one, you need to have your second dose between the last 14-270 days before your arrival in Portugal. 
  • If you are travelling to Portugal unvaccinated, you need to show proof of a negative test result from either a (1) PCR test taken 72 hours before your departure or (2) an antigen test taken 24 hours before your departure.
