This test is to be taken either 2 days, 3 days or 4 days before your departure from the UK. Check with your destination country to see how many days in advance you need to take test.

As a result, you may not have the time to purchase another kit before you need it. We offer a spare kit to avoid this situation. Please note, spare kits cannot be used separately and only one result will be issued.

Our antigen tests (also known as lateral flow tests) use flowflex CE marked test kits that offer a combined accuracy of 98.6% accuracy (96.8% sensitivity and and 99.3% specificity - well above the performance standards set by the World Health Organisation (≥97% specificity and ≥80% sensitivity). Our testing kits are approved for self-swab and home use with the ‘CE 0123’ mark.

Covid testing for travel is often time-sensitive, so we include Free Standard Delivery as standard. We aim to deliver the lateral flow tests to you within 2-3 days. However, you can receive your lateral flow tests within 1-2 days with a tracked service at an additional cost of £2.

No. RapidTests only sells lateral flow tests, because it's quicker to process the test results, meaning you get your fit-to-fly certificates quicker.

For outbound travel away from the UK, the requirements will depend on your destination country, so please research this at your discretion.

If you're arriving in the UK, the test you take will depend on your vaccination status.

Fully Vaccinated travellers arriving in the UK don't require any tests.

If you're unvaccinated (or not fully vaccinated), you need to take all of the following:

-Return To UK Lateral Flow Test

-Day 2 PCR Test

We cannot issue a fit to fly certificate to return to the UK if you test positive for coronavirus or if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 (including contact history).

For outbound travel from the UK, it depends on your destination country, but it's usually anytime between 2-4 days before your travel date.

For all Return To UK Lateral Flow Tests (only for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers), you must take the test anytime from 48 hours before your scheduled arrival to the UK.
